Kylie Ann

Here is Kylie in her Christmas dress. She loves it and has already worn it to a couple of places. Today we stood up to sing in church and her seat was all glittery, she thought that was pretty funny!
Can you believe she's 8 already?!?!?!?!? Wow how time flies when your having fun. She had a wonderful birthday and had a couple of her friends sleep over. They ate cake, played her new Operation game, played Webkins, roasted marshmallows, and watched TinkerBell. I think they finally all fell asleep at 11:00pm. She had a great time!!
Birthday morning. We all were up to watch her open her birthday presents before school. She was so excited. Since mom was here that week, she watched the twins while Rowdy and I went to the school and had lunch with Kylie. I know it made her day even more special.
There just aren't any words to describe this next picture. She's just too beautiful!

The Latest From My Little Ones!!!

I know it's been like forever since I've written and I'm sorry, but life with two babies and an 8 year old has really gotten busy. Babies are crawling everywhere and getting into everything. Here's a quick story:
Today after the girls woke up from their nap, I sat them on the floor and got my diaper stuff and changed Harlee's diaper. (which by the way, Harlee had been spitting up like crazy all morning) Anyway, after I was done with her I sat her up beside me and gave her a toy. I then grabbed Shyann, who was poopy, and started changing her. Well as soon as I got her diaper off and wiped one time with the wipe Harlee threw up a huge puddle right beside my leg and all over her foot and the floor. So I immediatly freak out and grabbed Harlee's hands which are fixing to plunge into her own spitup, I holered at Kylie to get me a kitchen towel, Shyann is now flipped over and crawling away from me with a poopy rear and still I'm freaked out by the throwup. Kylie grabs Shyann, but doesn't want poop on her, so you can only imagine the help there, I'm trying to get things cleaned up on Harlee's end and as I'm taking her socks off and trying to find a place to put it so that no one will get the yucky sock in their mouth, Harlee decides she wants to play with Shyann's poopy diaper. Luckily Harlee who threwup got no poop on her and Shyann who had a poopy rear got no throwup on her. Kylie and I both walked away clean and exhausted!!!!!!!!

This is a video of Harlee playing peek-a-boo. She first did this when mom and I were shopping at Wal-Mart and mom started playing it with her and now she loves it!

Here is Shy waving hello. She just started doing this tonight, so who knows if it will last. She had been doing it over and over and then I saw my camera, and of course, she decided to get really fussy and not do it anymore. I think I captured it once or twice though!

This next video makes me laugh every time :) Shyann is playing with a ball that Harlee wants, so Harlee trys and trys to get it from her. She finally ends up with it and then drops it. As Shyann crawls towards it, Harlee tackles her cause there isn't any way Harlee is going to let Shy have it. It's cute, ENJOY!!! (sorry if it is too dark)

I will post some pics of Kylie tomorrow. It's late and I'm tired!!

Fun Captures

Here is our youngest baby learning how to crawl. Shyann is doing so well and she picked it up quickly. Harlee is in the background crying, so Shyann decides she is going to go to her and comfort her, but she gets distracted by a toy along the way. Hopefully you can stand listening to the tears, but if not, just turn down the volume and enjoy watching the little one learn to crawl!

It is a rare occasion that both babies are in good moods at the same time, so on this particular night, we were getting ready for baths and they were very happy, so of course I had to capture it on camera. They are watching a video named 'God Made Me' and they absolutely love it!! As you can see they can't get too distracted while this is playing. Let me tell you, this video has saved me so many times, cause it will hold their attention and I can get a few things done during the day.

This is by far the funniest video I've gotten on camera yet. Shyann is eating peaches and doesn't like them too well. She was still opening her mouth and wanting bites, but....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Where oh where did my snow princess go? Oh where oh where could she be?? She went trick-or-treating all night long, oh where oh where could she be????
Isn't halloween such a fun time. If you are a mom like me, you dread halloween because not only does the candy call your name everything time you walk by the bowl, but also because we all have to think of something clever, cute, adorable and something they want to be, to dress our kids up for the big night. Standing in the aisle of Target waiting for her to choose the most perfect costume, and totally disagreeing with everything you choose, waiting and waiting and still waiting....Finally the decision is made and by the time we get home, she has somehow wiggled her way into the costume in the back seat of the van without ever taking her seatbelt off. Of course she wants to wear the costume everyday and by the time halloween actually gets here, the poor costume already looks like it has been to war and back.
After going out walking block by block practically forcing her up to the doorbell, reminding her to say thank you after EVERY house, we are so excited we lose track of time and she is asking us to carry her bag full of candy because it's so heavy her arm is hurting, plus the poor bag is getting street burn from her dragging it while walking!!!

We finally decide enough is enough and start our long journey back to the comfort of our home where we can take off our shoes, change into our pjs and dump the big bag of candy right in the middle of our livingroom floor to weed through and see what we want to eat right away. This time of the night, being a mom has been all but forgotten because you tell her one more piece and then brush teeth and lights out, knowing full and well she will have about 4 more pieces before actually getting her to the three letter word we all moms love to hear. BED!!!

Just for a moment, that moment of silence when your feet hurt and you are so tired from the busy day taking them to everyone you know to show them off in their adorable, cute costumes, just for a moment you sit back and say quietly, "I wish I were a kid again". You forget all about the frustrating times you had the prior weeks leading up to the big night and somehow look at it all and say, "that was fun". My kids had fun, they were soooo cute and thats what makes it a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Then that moment is darastically soon over and you think, "I only have 365 days to think of clever, cute, adorable costumes for next year". Your head starts to hurt and you finally decide to get to bed yourself. (only after one more piece of candy)

Growing Healthy and Strong

Okay, so it's been FOREVER since I've written anything, but I actually have a few minutes cause both of the babies are sleeping!!! I just wanted to post some pics and videos of the girls. Shyann is almost crawling, she gets up on her knees and rocks back and forth and will move them forward, but she hasn't quite figured out to move her hands yet, so she ends up taking a nose dive. Harlee is mama's girl and loves to give me kisses. She is rolling everywhere now and chews on everything!

Can you believe how big my little girl is getting? She is such a beautiful girl and means so much to me. Kylie is the best sister in the whole world!! She is doing wonderful in school and really likes her teacher. She is excited for her birthday in December and turning 8. She loves the fall and so here are a couple of pics of my angel!

So what do you think....do I need a hair cut??? Mommy says no, Daddy says yes. I say since I can't see my hair, then there isn't a problem. My hairstylist wanted me to look like a punk rocker from the 80's so all I had to do was sleep wild one night and here ya go!

Harlee And Her Snake

This is Harlee's new favorite toy. She is teething so the rubber feels really nice on her poor swollen gums, plus she can hold onto it better cause it's quite lengthy!!

This is Shyann laughing today after she woke up from a good nap. I was in the middle of cooking dinner and started singing to her and she just thought I was pretty funny. She doesn't laugh very often, so this was quite a treat for mommy. Enjoy!!!
